Chief has expanded its range of mounting solutions with the VCMU Heavy Duty Universal Projector Mount, which supports LCD/CRT projectors up to 110kg.
The new solution provides the same strength as custom VCM mounts to support heavy LCD and CRT projectors but it incorporates a convenient universal interface – which can be ordered separately to retrofit existing installs. It is said to be suited to professional, precise installations; the newly designed universal interface enables a simple three-step installation process, while the mount features independent adjustments for quick registration.
The mount is a versatile option and can be installed in a number of ways including: flush to the ceiling, the use of 5in threaded rods; and 1.5in NPT extension columns.
“When designing the VCMU, we wanted to incorporate many of the proven installation features demonstrated in our smaller projection mount product lines,” said Luke Westin, associate product manager, Chief. ‘”The universal interface provides convenience, flexibility and a fast installation not otherwise available for heavier installations.”
