Having played an active role at the recent ISE in Brussels, Cedia UK is now making final preparations for the CEDIA UK Expo 2006 which will take place at ExCeL in London’s Docklands from 19 to 22 June 2006.The trade association represents the custom installation industry in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa and is currently experiencing an on-going growth in membership.
Representatives were on hand at ISE to talk to visitors about the organisation’s work and the benefits of membership, and the association was also involved in the seminar programme.
This year’s CEDIA UK Expo 2006 will feature an expanded seminar programme and also more exhibition space on account of being held at the bigger venue.
Last year’s event – held at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre – saw attendance leap by more than 50% compared to 2004. Last year’s attendance figure of 4,714 includes some 569 overseas visitors from 57 countries outside the UK.
Further growth is expected for this year’s show, with over 80% of stand space already reserved.
