CEDIA UK Expo 2008 – over 75% of space now sold

Developed to bring together end-users, government bodies, marketers, technology suppliers, entrepreneurs, financiers and content professionals, Screen Media India will take place at the Tag Lands End in Mumbai (pictured) on March 20.

An economy that is now growing at 8% per year is generating considerable opportunities for screen manufacturers, while the fragmentation of traditional outdoor advertising and point-of-sale material also has implications for the adoption of modern screen media.

Mark Pigou, director of Screen Events, told II: “We are delighted with the response that Screen Media India has received from the marketplace so far, both locally and internationally, and we have every confidence that it will be a success. Regional publications in the brand, advertising and out-of-home space are all very enthusiastic about the show ‘coming to town’ and are signing up as media partners. We have chosen an excellent, high-end venue to host the conference, the Taj Lands Ends, located in downtown Mumbai. As the media and commercial capital of India, Mumbai is the ideal place to network and share experiences so that organisations can become a lot sharper with a clearer knowledge of how to go about implementing digital media networks.”

Prior to the event in India, the third Screen Expo Europe exhibition – also organised by Screen Events – will take place at London Olympia from February 5 to 6.
