CEDIA strengthens education programme for ISE 2013

CEDIA has released details of its expanded education programme for ISE 2013, with it set to be 'significantly larger and more varied' than ISE 2012.

Building on the education programme presented at ISE 2012, CEDIA will be delivering an enhanced range of training sessions for ISE 2013 (28-31 January, RAI, Amsterdam).

“Training is a vital part of CEDIA’s commitment to the industry and it’s especially important for CI businesses to stay on top of new trends, technologies and best practice in our sector. We continually strive to provide a high quality education programme with plenty of opportunities for people at all levels and disciplines within the industry”, commented Matt Dodd, CEDIA’s chair of education.

“The [ISE] 2013 programme will be significantly larger and more varied than in 2012, featuring new technology and business topics with expert subject-matter presenters drawn from across the globe to share their insights and knowledge with European delegates.”

CEDIA will be offering 21 courses, seven more than at ISE 2012. The programme includes courses such as; “HDMI Troubleshooting”, “Residential Security Fundamentals”, “Choosing and Using Control Systems” and “Introduction to 4K Video”.

A highlight of CEDIA’s ISE 2013 education programme will be the focus given to business development, particularly through technology and the internet. Courses such as; “Technology and Consumer Trends”, “Building and Maintaining a Profitable Website”, Developing Profitable Business Processes”, “Social Media as a Marketing Tool” and “Mobile Devices – From a personal scale experience into a home scale experience”, will provide lessons on how to develop good business practice.

Delegates wishing to register free for ISE 2013 should use the CEDIA invitation code: 706374 and those keen to book a place on the CEDIA Education programme can do so via the ISE 2013 website.

CEDIA representatives are available on the Association’s stand throughout the show to answer questions and provide information about CEDIA’s work across Region 1 (Europe, Russia, The Middle East, India and Africa) and the benefits that membership brings.
