Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) is a finalist in the Best New Product category at the 2010 CEDIA Manufacturer’s Excellence Awards. The product in question is the vIRsa Mouse IR emitter, which is designed to be low-profile and adapt to any installation environment with a flexible firm adhesive that conforms to curved surfaces.
A separate attached holder allows easy removal and replacement of the emitter, while a blue LED flasher offered increased visibility – although it may be hidden during normal operation.
Other features include a translucent PCB to improve the integrity of electrical connections, along with a built-in resistor, a 15-foot cable and an integrated cable-management strap.
