As Installation Residential reported recently, custom installation membership body CEDIA has appointed international market research company Parks Associates to conduct a significant industry research project into the residential custom installation market in key territories. As part of this programme, UK residential integrators, installers and dealers – whether CEDIA members or not – are invited to complete this online research form. This will only take around 25 minutes to complete and the results will be collated and used to help assess the size and scope of the sector, highlighting potential areas of growth and opportunities for all in the industry. Respondents’ privacy will be respected – individual responses will be collated and only released in combination with others. The closing date for this project will be 7September, and results will be made available in October 2012. “This is the first time a research project has taken place on this scale and the results we gain will add value to businesses and help to shape their own growth going forward,” commented Matt Nimmons, CEDIA Region 1 operations director. All who respond to the survey will receive a £55 CEDIA education voucher, and will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three VIP trips to ISE 2013. www.cedia.co.uk
