The 2011 CEDIA Business and Technology Forum, incorporating the CEDIA AGM, will take place at Belton Woods Hotel and Country Club (pictured), near Grantham, Lincs, on 4 October.

The event – which will be sponsored by Connectivity UK, Philips Dynalite, Rako, Speakercraft and URC – will feature a series of interactive training sessions allowing delegates to discuss and debate major technology and market issues facing the CI sector today. Business forum topics will include ‘protectionist policies’ and ‘lots of small jobs or fewer big jobs’, while the technology sessions will address topics including HD distribution and cloud-based services.

The Forum sessions will be followed by the AGM, where CEDIA Board members present a review of the Association’s activities. The results of voting for Board positions will also be revealed.

CEDIA members can purchase tickets at a specially reduced rate of £137.50 plus VAT including overnight accommodation, or £55.00 plus VAT excluding accommodation and including dinner. Non-members can participate in the business forum at a price of £190.00 plus VAT per delegate, including accommodation, or £100 plus VAT excluding accommodation but including dinner.
