In business for 25 years, Interkom has been increasingly associated with customised analogue and digital wired conferencing systems.
“Interkom goes with beyerdynamic because of its product portfolio,” comments Wolfgang Luckhardt, managing director of beyerdynamic. “We will make use of synergies in areas such as research and development, production and sales. From 31 March 2006, Interkom will be relocated from its German headquarters in Wedemark to the beyerdynamic HQ at Hellbronn.” Beyerdynamic says it hopes to give Interkom employees new career opportunities.
The acquisition also gives beyerdynamic access to Revoluto, a delegate unit without a visible microphone, which has been developed by Interkom.
