Belgian-based Basalte, which is known for producing design switches and room control solutions based on advanced touch technology, is presenting Asano: an advanced KNX muliti-room audio system.
It is said to be ideal for homes of all sizes, as well as restaurants, sports bars and hotels.
Asano is a networked multi-room audio system that allows users to freely locate sources and amplifiers anywhere in the building. Using CobraNet, the device transports uncompressed audio from a range of sources to different rooms over a dedicated Ethernet network, offering a flexibile and expandable solution.
The system is powered with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower Class D amplification, while the internal advanced DSP enables users to fine-tune sound in every room. Asano integrates with KNX systems, without any interface. This makes it possible to control the Asano system with any KNX control device such as the Basalte Sentido keypad or the Deseo room controller.
In addition, every Asano device integrates with ETS, the KNX programming tool, allowing for a uniform and easy setup and configuration of the system.
