Among the new products presented at the January event were the compact DYNACORD D-LITE 1000 system, the D 12A (two-way) and D 12-3A (three-way) powered loudspeakers, and the DSP 260 digital sound system processor. From Electro-Voice, meanwhile, came the ZX3 two-way loudspeaker and the DC-One digital loudspeaker controller.
The event also included comprehensive demonstrations and workshops, along with a tour of the new production hall and test/demo hall. Occupying more than 6,000sqm, the facility entailed an investment of approximately 8m euros.
Bosch Communications Systems’ manager – marketing communications EMEA, Robert Pletz, told II: “The Hausmesse was one of our most sucessful ones ever, not least because we were able to show our new production facilities and our new demo and testing hall, the biggest one of its kind throughout Europe. Our customers were able to see for real what they had felt in the past year: the positive trend within the company and all the changes which were made to get even better quality and much shorter lead times. Also, the new products received a very enthusiastic response. And last but not least, we had a number of successful workshops_ Visitors want to become familiar with the latest technologies, presented as they are ‘straight from the horse’s mouth’.”
