The AVNetworks 2010 conference has received accreditation by InfoComm. Members who attend the one-day conference, to be held on 15 September at Earls Court Conference Centre, will be eligible to receive six CTS or CTS-D Renewal Units (RUs).

InfoComm Renewal Units are designed to ensure that holders of the organisation’s internationally recognised AV qualifications keep their knowledge updated. Each certification is valid for three years, and certified professionals must earn 30 RUs within each three-year period.

InfoComm members, alongside members of CEDIA, PLASA and PLASA visitors and exhibitors, are also eligible for a £30 discount on the price of registration.

“It’s very gratifying to have the content of AVNetworks 2010 endorsed in this way by InfoComm,” said Paddy Baker, editor of Installation Europe, which is co-hosting the conference alongside sister UBM title Pro Sound News Europe. “It speaks to the credentials of the conference chairman, Roland Hemming, as well as the impressive line-up of speakers that we have assembed for the day.”

AVNetworks 2010 takes place alongside PLASA 2010, on the final day of that event. To find out more and to book places, visit the conference website.
