AVC Group, SpeakerCraft and Panamax/Furman integrate

The three brands, as well as Proficient, will form a new resource for dealers in the shape of a centralised division. The move comes as the the group intends to respond to industry changes.

The new arrangement will see The AVC Group, Speakercraft, Proficient and Panamax/Furman centralised through a single division. This will enable focus to fall on a customer-centric product development, brand innovation and dealer support, say the collective. An internal reshuffle will be implemented immediately, and will see president of The AVC Group, Mark Terry, depart the company to pursue other endeavors. Heading up the new organisation will be former Panamax/Furman president, Bill Pollock (pictured). Paul Starkey will direct marketing, while David Keller will head sales and Keith Marshall will take charge of SpeakerCraft and Proficient. “This is far more than a strategic realignment. It represents an important and historic step for our industry,” says Pollock. “We’ve joined the expertise and efficiency of the industry’s most important technology brands and formed a new resource for our dealers that represents a unique opportunity for them to grow both ROI and competitive standing.” Pollock adds: “By synergising the benefits of our brands under one centralised group, additional resources can be better allocated to product development and marketing. This will represent an immediate win-win for our customers, brands and dealers.”
