Audio-Technica Ltd announces relocation

The UK company has moved into larger office and warehouse facilities in Leeds to facilitate future expansion, as well as announcing a series of personnel changes.

The UK company has moved into larger office and warehouse facilities in Leeds to facilitate future expansion, as well as announcing a series of personnel changes.

The new premises, says Audio-Technica, will allow for significantly higher levels of stockholding – integral to the company’s plans for growth in the next five years.

The relocation is in line with other developments across Europe. Audio-Technica Germany moved to larger premises earlier this year, while the French division has relocated in the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, the company has also announced a series of personnel changes. Tom Harrold, previously sales and marketing assistant, has been promoted to assistant marketing manager – pro audio. The newly-recruited Rodrigo Thomaz takes on Harrold’s former sales responsibilities, while also providing technical support to customers.

Audio-Technica Ltd managing director Adrian Rooke (pictured) commented: “The new office and warehouse will enable us to serve customers more efficiently and, crucially, allow us space to grow. It’s an exciting move and one that lays a firm foundation for our business activity in the coming years.

“I’m also pleased to congratulate Tom on his promotion and welcome Rodrigo to the Audio-Technica team. Tom has proved a great asset to the marketing department in the last two-and-a-half years and his new role as assistant marketing manager is well-deserved, while Rodrigo will be a great resource as far as technical sales are concerned.”
