Leading pro-audio brands will come together on Tuesday 31 January to host the 2012 Networking Congress at the Holiday Inn, Amsterdam.
Key manufacturers including Yamaha Commercial Audio, Audinate, Lab.gruppen and members from leading independent consultants, such as Sam Wise of Arup (UK) and Richard Northwood of COMS (UK) will be hosting the all-day event. The congress is intended to provide an opportunity for AV design consultants and pro-audio manufacturers to share their expertise in the rapid convergence from analogue to digital media networks.
The multi-session panel-based event will cover a wide range of installation application topics, including voice alarm and evacuation systems, stadiums and large venues, digital media in theatres and an introduction to the Open Control Architecture Alliance. “I’m looking forward to participating in a wide ranging event without manufacturer bias, that stimulates open discussion on the future of networked audio and control – which are fundamental topics for so many systems we do today,” said Richard Northwood, one of the independent consultants set to takle part in the discussions.
