Control and automation system specialist AMX plans an ISE showcase that will demonstrate how the right technology and a unified approach can combine to eliminate meeting room technology problems and deliver an effective collaborative environment.
Building the perfect meeting room begins with efficient behind-the-scenes management of AV sources. Accordingly, AMX will introduce the latest additions to its Enova range, which combines all of the components required to automate any environment in a simple, flexible solution. Alongside the Enova DGX16 and 32 Digital Media Switchers, AMX will show products from the complete range of Enova DVX All-in-One Presentation Switchers.
Also suitable for meeting room deployments are the Modero X Series family of frameless, panoramic and widescreen touchpanels. Incorporating a new control surface on which to perform multiple activities, the Modero X Series combines a low profile and edge-to-edge glass. Two new Modero X Series accessories – Multi Preview (MXA-MP) and Multi Preview Live (MXA-MPL) – will also be on display.
In addition, AMX will highlight the flush-mountable six-module, nine-module and 12-module units that have taken the HydraPort Connection Port series in a new direction. Sitting nearly flush with the mount’s surface, these additions can connect and control laptops, projectors, document cameras, DVD players, audio equipment and other support devices.
The manufacturer will also be introducing its Clear Connect Wireless Gateway to the European market. Based on Lutron’s Clear Connect Enabled technology, the solution will enable AMX control systems to seamlessly integrate with Lutron’s Clear Connect dimmers, switches, occupancy sensors, plug-in devices and keypads.
