In addition to acquiring a grandMA2 ultra-light, the Baxter Theatre has also purchased a grandMA pico for its Concert Hall. The desks will be supplied by DWR Distribution, which is responsible for MA Lighting in South Africa.
Regarding the grandMA pico, theatre production manager Patrick Curtis said that the system “will form a valuable back-up function, although not linked via network. It also makes sense to have the same make of console, especially the same way of operation and syntax in a building where our technicians move from venue to venue.”
