Ampco Flashlight Group has acquired Audiopro Netherlands, one of the leading audio suppliers in the Benelux, with the merger taking effect as of 31 March.
Founded in 1988, Audiopro has established a name for itself as one of the principal suppliers and installers of d&b audiotechnik and Clearcom systems.
Peter de Fouw of Ampco Flashlight and Rolf Dijkstra of Audiopro (both pictured) headed up the merger. “Audiopro is a welcome addition to the Ampco Flashlight Group and our sales companies TM Audio Holland and Lightco Netherlands,” said de Fouw. “It will enable the group to offer an even more comprehensive product portfolio, boosted technical know how and a significantly expanded customer base.”
A further outcome of the acquisition will be to merge the sales companies within Ampco Flashlight at one location, which will result in a powerful one-stop-shop for lighting and AV.
“With my background as engineer I can see the enormous technical and practical potential that we have created with this merger,” said Rolf Dijkstra of Audiopro. “Being embedded in the Ampco Flashlight Group we formed a platform for our crew members and ourselves for taking on more, and bigger projects further, in a wider territory.”
