The CL62 ceiling loudspeaker is the latest innovation from French audio manufacturer Active Audio, which marked its tenth anniversary in 2012.
Specifically requested by Active Audio distributors, the CL62 is a versatile, 6in two-way speaker. It is suitable for delivering both background music and excellent speech intelligibility with a specification that includes a 165mm woofer driver and 25mm tweeter driver.
Four hooks permit the CL62 to be placed high in the ceiling with cables, while a selector tap with five positions allows the power to be shared. Discrete and ‘almost invisible’, the CL62 also allows its Active Audio logo to be removed to boost invisibility.
The result is a product that, says Active Audio, satisfies the company’s objectives of ‘acoustic performance, aesthetics, ease of installation and reliability’.
