The acquisition will add loudspeakers, immersive and active audio systems, headphones, studio monitors, and automotive and yachting OEM systems to Barco’s portfolio. VerVent will be integrated into Barco’s Entertainment Division following completion of the deal, with a strategy centred on high-end premium audio positioning, active and connected products, and portfolio rationalisation.

Barco says the move establishes it as a fully integrated audiovisual solutions provider, creating new opportunities in home cinema, public spaces, and professional cinema.

An Steegen, CEO of Barco, said: “By welcoming VerVent and its iconic Focal and Naim brands into the Barco family, we accelerate our strategy to deliver fully integrated solutions where image and sound reinforce each other seamlessly. The addition of high-fidelity audio strengthens the overall experience of our offering across high-end residential and broader consumer and home entertainment environments, as well as in professional markets.”
