Aavara multi-caster features PoE

The HDMI over IP multi-casting and videowall signage solution features PoE (Power over Ethernet). It can support up to 16 video channels and is PC, DVI and GHDCP compatible.

Designed for DOOH applications, notably videowalls, Aavara’s PB5000V HDMI over IP multi-casting and videowall signage solution features PoE (Power over Ethernet), meaning that no separate power adapter is required, simplifying installation and cabling. If a non-PoE switch is used, a separate power adapter is available.
The company believes that the PB5000V is especially well suited to digital signage applications in which the video source or channel needs to be changed frequently by the end user as an IR remote control is provided.
The PB500V supports up to 16 video channels, and is PC DVI and GHDCP compatible. Control is via a web-based user interface. According to the company, audio quality is comparable to a CD. A bezel and gap compensation function is provided to enhance the perceived quality of the video.
Also on show on the Aavara stand is the PD3000 HD Video Tree Chain Cat5e Broadcaster, which is designed to simplify cabling of digital signage and commercial AV installations. It delivers, according to the company, ultra high quality HDMI video with CD quality audio broadcasting to multiple TVs/displays/projectors across a wide area using a single Cat5e point to point connection.
Each receiver can further daisy chain up to two additional receivers, and total support is provided for up to ten layers of daisy chain for distances of 1200 metres and more. Up to 100 display devices can be supported.
According to Aavara, the PD3000 can be combined with other of the company’s solutions to create a wide variety of complex topologies for installations in airports, shopping malls, department stores, transportation hubs, hotels, hospitals and others.
