At the most recent European Athletic Championships, Brussels Airlines – with the support of the Belgian athletic federations and various sponsors – set up a gathering point near the Olympic Stadium where Belgians could enjoy the championships in camaraderie with each other. The gathering point was designed as an exclusive Belgian environment in which to enjoy Belgian food and beer, celebrate Belgian victories – or to commiserate with fellow countrymen following defeats.
Tech Session – Aavara’s Belgian distributor- was chosen as exclusive provider of all audio-visual support and resources for the gathering point, which included the provision of an Aavara PB900 HDMI Over IP Broadcaster for live telecasts on giant screens, allowing every visitor to follow the Championships.
