Biamp has been awarded two prestigious Red Dot Awards for the Parlé video and audio conferencing bars and for the Voltera line of power amplifiers. The Red Dot Design Awards is one of the world’s largest and most renowned design competitions with approximately 20,000 submissions from 60 countries for the 2023 awards.
“We are very proud to announce that we have once again been recognised by the Red Dot Awards for two of our newest products,” said Joe Andrulis, executive vice president of corporate development at Biamp. “Excellent industrial design goes beyond aesthetics and these awards reflect our commitment to providing our customers and partners with the best in terms of innovation, craftsmanship, and ease of use. Congratulations to the product, design, engineering, and manufacturing teams – I’m so proud of their deep and continuous commitment to building exceptional audiovisual solutions that deliver extraordinary user experiences.”
Biamp has been recognised previously with Red Dot Awards for the Desono EX loudspeakers, NPX network paging stations, Vidi 250 4K conferencing camera, and the industrial design of the TesiraFORTÉ X and Devio SCX digital signal processors in 2022, as well as the Parlé X-Series microphones in 2020.
The Red Dot Design Award is an internationally recognised seal of excellence in product design that dates back to 1955. Each year, the competition goes in search of outstanding design achievements and product innovations. In 2023, products were submitted and evaluated in 51 competition categories. The winners were determined by the Red Dot Jury, an independent panel of experts comprised of 43 judges, who assessed each product for outstanding design quality.
