MultiDyne will showcase an expanded production technology portfolio at CABSAT 2026, the broadcast, media and pro AV show for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, taking place at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, October 5-7. The offering brings MRMC camera robotics and motion control together with MultiDyne’s fibre transport, camera connectivity and IP systems following its acquisition of MRMC assets earlier this year.
The combined portfolio spans camera movement and automation through to the transport and management of video, audio, communications and data. MultiDyne acquired the assets of Mark Roberts Motion Control in June, subsequently establishing MultiDyne Robotics and Motion Control Limited, which continues to operate under the MRMC brand.
Among the technologies on show in Dubai will be MultiDyne’s SilverBack-IP fibre camera adapter, which brings native SMPTE ST 2110 connectivity to digital cinema camera workflows. The system is designed to allow production teams to integrate cinema cameras directly into IP production environments while retaining the mobility and camera flexibility of previous SilverBack models.
MultiDyne will also demonstrate its latest-generation VF-9100 VersaFrame fibre transport platform. Designed for hybrid SDI/IP facilities, the system features a redesigned architecture, increased processing capacity and expanded modularity alongside native RESTful API support.
The API functionality enables monitoring, configuration and diagnostics to be integrated with network management and facility control systems, with the platform designed to provide a bridge between existing baseband infrastructure and IP workflows.
Also on show will be the new MDoG-8800, an eight-channel 12G fibre transport module for the openGear ecosystem. Targeting high-density 4K and 8K workflows, the module combines internal routing with a choice of fibre-per-signal or integrated CWDM configurations.
“The MRMC acquisition gives us a much broader set of technologies to address different requirements across the production chain,” said Sebastian Mucha, executive VP of sales and strategy at MultiDyne. “A customer may need robotics and automation, additional camera connectivity, higher-capacity fibre transport, IP infrastructure or a combination of those capabilities.
“The important thing is that they can add what makes sense for their production environment without having to rethink everything around it.”
MultiDyne said the expanded portfolio is particularly relevant to broadcasters, sports organisations, production companies and entertainment venues in the Middle East as investment in automation, IP production and higher-capacity fibre connectivity continues.
“The value of the expanded portfolio is flexibility,” added Mucha. “Customers can bring together robotics, automation, camera connectivity, fibre transport and IP in the way that best fits their production environment. It gives them a practical path to expand their capabilities and evolve their infrastructure with or without requiring a wholesale change to workflows and technologies that already work for them.”
CABSAT 2026 takes place from October 5-7, with MultiDyne exhibiting in Hall S19, Stand H2-A57.
