Quieter than a ticking watch – world’s quietest laser projector to be debuted at ISE

The first time in public, NEC’s P525UL is designed for intimate spaces, enabling attendees to concentrate on presentations without the distraction of projector noise

Visitors to NEC’s stand during ISE will be amongst the first to experience NEC’s newest laser projector – the P5525UL – hailed as the quiestest on the planet.

On display for the first time, the P525UL projects noise levels of just 22dB in Eco mode – quieter than the ticking of a watch. The P525UL is ideal for intimate spaces, enabling attendees to concentrate on presentations without the distraction of projector noise.

Thanks to the completely sealed engine, this laser projector is filter-free meaning 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Comprehensive connectivity and optional WiFi provide the utmost flexibility and time-saving operation. The embedded MultiPresenter functionality enables wireless presentation and screen sharing for up to 16 devices simultaneously, out of the box to your meeting room. It is capable of processing 4K inputs at 30Hz.

The rest

The P525UL is one of several projector being showcases at ISE, which will also include the PX1005QL for larger spaces (multi-purpose sports and events halls, theatres, museums and leisure parks). The QL provides “pixel-free” visualisation at even the closest viewing distances and ‘super-bright’ 40,000 centre lumen RB laser projection with real 4K resolution and wide colour space.

All NEC laser projectors up to 10,000 ANSI lumen fall under Risk Group 2, NEC projectors require no safety precautions, further saving on installation and operation costs.

NEC’s pojectors will be demonstrated in a range of different application scenarios, from digital signage to meeting and conferencing, higher education to large venues.

“Whatever the application, NEC has the perfect projector for your organisation’s needs,” said Wolfgang Haunschild, Product Marketing Manager at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “All our new generation laser projectors are fully future-proofed, with 4K UHD input processing that can handle the latest content formats. Furthermore, our NaViSet Administrator 2 software tool provides perfect control, ensuring that users can identify and correct issues before they become noticeable to the audience.”

“From lamp to laser, large auditorium to the smallest huddle space, drop by our stand for a demonstration of our technology-agnostic DLP and LCD based projector line-up and find out how which one will deliver the ‘wow factor’ for your organisation,” concluded Haunschild.
