Midwich Ignite, the corporate venture capital arm of the Midwich Group that invests in high-growth start-ups in AV, has announced its investment in NetSpeek, the company behind Lena, the first generative AI platform built exclusively for operating multi-vendor networks of unified communications (UC) and pro AV technologies.

Founded in 2023, NetSpeek has developed its language enabled network administrator (Lena) AI platform to automate the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of AV and UC systems, especially in conference rooms, meeting spaces and classrooms.
The goal of the AI is to transform raw data into meaningful insights so that Lena can provide step-by-step guidance, reducing the time and effort required for setup and configuration. Additionally, its autonomy and reasoning capabilities is designed to allow businesses to detect and address potential issues before they escalate.
Alex Kemanes, managing director at Midwich Ignite, said: “Investing in NetSpeek represents an exciting step for Midwich Ignite as we continue to back technologies that drive real innovation. NetSpeek is revolutionising network maintenance with its intelligent, real-time diagnostics and proactive alerts helping AV and IT customers minimise downtime while giving end users peace of mind.”
NetSpeek will be showcasing Lena at InfoComm 2025 at booth 3590 with live demonstrations and expert insights.
