Kaleidescape, a leading provider of entertainment servers in the USA, will further expand its European presence with the formation of Kaleidescape Europe – a wholly owned subsidiary company. It is also forging new relationships with key distributors in the region.
The new, dedicated subsidiary will be based in London and will act as the European headquarters for the company and provide sales and support resources for the region. Additionally, Kaleidescape has added new distributors on the European mainland including Audio Video Generation in France, Image Vertriebs in Germany and Tower Systems in Italy. These companies join Kaleidescape’s current distributor in Switzerland, Genesis Technologies.
“Our business has grown dramatically in Europe over the past year. We’ve built an excellent European distribution network and have seen an increasing number of installations in both the residential and marine markets,” says Michael Malcolm, Kaleidescape’s founder, chairman and CEO. “By increasing our presence in the region, we expect to further accelerate our growth.”
Staff at the UK office, which is in Bracknell, Berkshire, include Beckie Bethell (pictured) and Laura Carrigan as UK account manager and sales support representative, respectively. Bethell brings to Kaleidescape a wealth of industry experience, gained most recently at RGB Communications, one of Europe’s major players in custom installation and a founding member of CEDIA UK. Carrigan joins Kaleidescape from InFocus, a worldwide leader in the projector market, and will provide support to the European sales effort.
