The Red Herring 100 list is said to be used by technology executives, investors and observers as a way of identifying promising start-ups that will lead the next wave of innovation. Evaluation was made on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, innovation, management, global strategy and _ecosystem integration_.
The award was presented in a ceremony last month, around which time Red Herring also held its global conference in Seattle. The latter provided an opportunity for US senior sales manager Ed Whitaker to detail the company_s business model and achievements.
