Harman fit-out for third London ASL venue

Founded by Mark von Westenholz and Adam Breeden, ASL opened its first venue in Holborn in 2006. According to the company’s website, the ’boutique bowling’ concept was inspired by “a passion for bowling and the changing face of going out in London”.

Encompassing public and private bowling lanes, a cocktail bar and a 1950s-style diner/luncheonette, the latest ASL site features audiovisual systems devised by The Sound Division Group and based around Harman Pro products.

Features of a very extensive specification include JBL Control 30 and 29AV loudspeakers, augmented by AE series subs; JBL Control 24C and 24CT flush ceiling speakers in the peripheral areas; Crown XTi 4000 and XTi 2000 amplifiers to power the Main Bowl system; and a BSS Audio Soundweb London network that features a BLU-80 processor and BLU-8 programmable wall remotes.

“We are delighted with the impact of the new multimedia system and the ease with which it went in,” said ASL co-founder Adam Breeden. “We now have an excellent design and contracting team which will lead us into the future.”
