In an effort to make its education courses more accessible and encourage members to book training regularly, CEDIA has introduced a new voucher scheme. As well as providing discounted rates, the scheme supports the association’s new modular education format announced earlier this year.
“We believe that the new voucher scheme will have an impact on our members,” said Matt Dodd, Director of CEDIA Education Region 1. “In the fast-paced industry that we are in, it is imperative for industry professionals to understand and grow with market trends and to be educated in all aspects of CI to achieve the highest quality installations. The scheme has been developed specifically to help manage cash flow within businesses; we hope all of our members will make the most of this exciting offer.”
CEDIA recently announced a new modular approach to education, splitting all of the core disciplines into one-day courses, including popular technician/installer courses such as Residential Networking, design courses including the Home Cinema Design Workshop and business courses such as Let’s Make Money! Vouchers are worth the cost of a one-day course. A certification exam – such as EST2, ESD1 or Residential Networking Specialist – can be redeemed at the value of two vouchers.
The cost of vouchers decreases as more are purchased:
• One voucher is priced at £169 (+ VAT);
• Three vouchers can be bought at £159;
• Five vouchers cost £149 each;
• Ten vouchers can be bought for £129; and
• Twenty-five vouchers cost £99 each.
These block vouchers are available to CEDIA member companies. The rate for a one-day course for non-members is £219 (+ VAT). To support the launch of the voucher scheme, CEDIA is offering all members one voucher in credit, worth £169 (+ VAT).
