Toshiba Europe GmbH has made its entrance into the business display market at ISE 2014. It is the first time this business unit of Toshiba has attended the show.

The company’s heritage in the professional AV market in other regions, including Japan, dates back to the early 1990s, and Toshiba has recently launched in the UK, France and Germany with expansion to other European countries planned during 2014.

The company says it is combining knowledge and technologies taken from its presence in the consumer market with tailored solutions for the professional market, such as all day usage, extended warranties and hotel modes. This new category will be operated through a distribution model capitalising upon Toshiba’s experience in the business laptop market.

On show are smart signage management systems as well as a range of monitors, including hospitality TVs, with integrated ‘hotel mode’ and screen sizes up to 40in, signage TVs with built-in signage display features in sizes up to 50in,  24/7 operation pro-signage monitors up to 70in, UHDTVs with 4K display resolution available in sizes up to 84in and 6-point optical touchscreen bezels available in sizes up to 70in.
