Steljes hires to support SMART growth17 December 2012
UK distributor Steljes has made two new appointments to its product management team. The company said that the move is designed to cope with demand for the SMART portfolio in the education and business markets.
According to Steljes, the economic climate is causing British business to look at how it can streamline its operations, work more productively and reduce costs, resulting in companies starting to embrace the need to create a truly collaborative working environment to help them achieve these aims. This, said Steljes, is fuelling the increased demand for SMART’s Freestorm visual collaboration solutions which are designed to improve efficiency and productivity.
Monique Wintle-Camp has been appointed to the role of product manager – SMART Business Solutions to help Steljes’ resellers capitalise on this growing market. She has proven sales experience within the audio visual industry where she has worked for over three years. Prior to joining Steljes, she worked at AVM as a corporate account manager responsible for growing the company’s portfolio in the business market.
David Joshi has been appointed as product manager – SMART Education Solutions. He will also be responsible for growing the market share of all SMART’s product portfolio in the education sector, bringing more than 10 years product management experience gained from his previous roles at Chrome Dreams and Trackitdown.
The new hires will report to Claire Coogan, senior product manager SMART. “Monique and David bring with them a wealth of experience that will prove invaluable to their respective roles,” said Coogan. “Steljes is experiencing increased demand for SMART’s products both in the business and education sectors. Their appointment is a key step in our investment and growth plans moving forward.”
