Sony introduces flagship professional display

Sony has launched the 100in FWD-100ZD9501 BRAVIA 4K display, designed for corporate environments such as meeting rooms, boardrooms and entrance halls.

The design of the flagship model features a black slate finish at the front and a back panel grid design that keeps all the cables completely hidden.

As the company’s largest model, the FWD-100ZD9501 offers more depth and greater realism, thanks to a newly developed 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme image processor, and Backlight Master Drive backlight technology. The new 4K Processor X1 Extreme is 40% more powerful than its predecessor, while the new Backlight Master Drive delivers dynamic range with deep blacks.

“The new 100in BRAVIA Professional Display demonstrates Sony´s commitment to exemplary design and innovation that fulfils both form and function” said Thomas Issa, product manager for B2B Displays at Sony Professional Solutions Europe. “Through this flagship model, Sony has merged design and technology into a beautiful professional solution for corporate customers who want a bigger, brighter and better experience.”

The FWD-100ZD9501 also features a 17-hour operation time and enhanced user controls for easy configuration and setup, including the ability for presenters to remotely control the display with IP and a built-in RS232 jack input. There are also built-in landscape/portrait options, integrated digital signage and media players.

The new 100in model will be launched in October 2016.
