Samsung introduces Smart Signage TV

Samsung Electronics has announced Samsung Smart Signage TV, a TV set designed for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and small office/home office (SOHO) users. This enables various customised in-store promotions and business content to be displayed alongside live TV.

Samsung Smart Signage TV is delivered as a turnkey offering that includes the commercial display (LED-litTV with an embedded HDTV tuner, media player and WiFi), MagicInfo Express content management software, stand and wall mount. Businesses can divide the display screen into multiple sections and show a wide range of materials, from promotional banners to menus, in formats including TV, video, images and text.

Content can be delivered to the embedded media player via USB or wirelessly from a WiFi-enabled mobile device. More than 200 pre-built design templates and sample imagery are provided in the content management system.  Content may be scheduled in any sequence, duration, at any time of day, on any day of the week needed.

Samsung Smart Signage TV’s business solution is designed for longer continuous operation, enabling businesses to display their promotional materials up to 16 hours a day, seven days a week­. All components also are backed by a warranty of up to three years (depending on territory).
