Safevision shows range of security products

Paddy Baker 28 January 2012

Safevision, EET Group´s security division, is showing a number of new product releases on the IP Security Pavilion at ISE 2012.

Analytics software from Agent-vi has many uses including people counting, detecting people moving in a given area, cross-line detection and locating suspicious. This software, which is said to enable much more precise reactions, can be used on already recorded material.
In addition, new camera technologies from IQinvision will be on display. These promise superior picture quality and easy installation, thanks to new remote focus functionality. In combination with IR light from Microlight and Teknosystems, larger areas in total darkness can be made visible.
Sony`s ultra low light IR Dome cameras can display car registration plates, even when the headlights are shining directly into the camera.
Milestone and Mirasys software for handling camera installations will be demonstrated. In combination with Safevision’s own HIGH-END video servers/recorders, based on Supermicro parts, a long lasting and reliable surveillance system can be created.
Entry-level and midrange products include: NUUO software and hybrid units, which are said to combine the best of analogue and IP into one unit; and camera products from A-soni, which promise a good balance between price and quality. A brand new development is VSaaS (Video as a Service) – using the Cloud for video surveillance. Cameramanager’s easy-to-use VSaaS system can save on installation costs and on-going repairs and service compared to a standard surveillance system.
Finally, a complete range of Ernitec products  will be on display: these are high-end, reliable units from analogue matrixes and cameras to IP servers and management software.
