RCF has Media coverage7 September 2011
RCF will be showcasing its portfolio of audio equipment at xSolutions 2011 (19-20 October, ExCeL London UK). Pride of place will go to RCF’s new Media Series, which presents a 360º approach to sound system design.
The Media Series features five models, from the smallest 5” to the larger 2 x 6” — all purpose designed for small-to-medium-sized projects requiring distributed systems.
The design and look of the Media Series (pictured) is consistent with the higher power Compact and H Series models, while various installation options — from an elegant swivel bracket to easy-to-install wall mounting U brackets — provide versatility. The steel front grilles are protected with robust double mesh polyester and the front RCF logo is easily rotatable, while all models feature quick lock audio input and link output connectors.
Process-controlled technology for all manner of public buildings is contained in RCF’s VSA 2050 digitally-steerable column speaker — which will also be on show at ExCeL. This is the ideal speaker for indoor installations where the critical acoustic environment is an issue and where moderate visual impact is required.
VSA 2050 allows the audio signal to be directed exactly to the listening area, avoiding sending acoustic energy to ceilings and empty floors. This obviates the risk of reflections that would affect speech intelligibility in critical environments with high reverberation time (such as shopping malls).
Finally, RCF will also show the DXT 7000 and DXT 9000 commercial audio systems designed to control and manage background music and paging for emergency and evacuation purposes, which are fully EN 60849 compliant.
