projectiondesign demonstrates virtual strength and focus28 March 2012
Highlighting its capabilities in, and focus on, visualisation and virtual reality applications, Norway’s projectiondesign will jointly exhibit with presentation specialists i3D Poland at Laval Virtual 2012 (March 28 – April 1, Laval, France)..
The company will showcase the F35 AS3D 3D projector. The F35 AS3D produces 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution at 120 Hz refresh rates and displays fully uncompressed 3D. One of the real user benefits, according to projectiondesign, lies in the deployment of newly developed dual bandwidth imaging – double the processing speed of competing products whilst outputting full image detail and accuracy without artefacts.
It features a wide range of specifically designed high-resolution projection lenses as well as projectiondesign’s RealColor colour management suite for on-site calibration and colour accuracy.
The projector delivers brightness levels up to 7,500 ANSI lumens, a range of configuration options, and seamless switching between 3D and 2D. Additional features include user adjustable Smear Reduction Processing that reduces motion artefacts in high-speed imaging, which the company says is a key feature for simulation and visualisation applications.
In addition to jointly exhibiting with i3D Poland, several projectiondesign F35 AS3D projectors will be deployed across other stands including those of Immersion France and Lumiscaphe.
“Our presence at Laval Virtual demonstrates the wide market acceptance of our technologies in use by today’s leading scientific visualisation, virtual reality, visitor attractions and training and simulation applications,” said Fredrik Brostrm-Hansen, Product Marketing Manager, projectiondesign, “all which have the commonality of using higher detail enabling users to make quicker and better-informed decisions.”
