PLASA Focus prepares for busy show28 March 2012
PLASA Focus: Leeds 2012 continues to gather momentum as we approach the 17-18 April event at the Royal Armouries in Leeds; pre-show registration is said to be higher than ever, with 2,000 professionals from the north of England’s entertainment and installation technology communities registered, and a record number of products are set to be showcased.
An array of new products will be shipped in straight from Frankfurt’s Prolight + Sound (some on show for the first time in the UK) and 20 new exhibitors will showcase their products at the event – which will also boast a multitude of seminars available to attendees as part of the Pro Development Programme.
The new exhibitors, taking their places with 130 others across two sold-out halls, will include: audio, video and lighting installers TMC, audio manufacturers Electro-Voice and KV2 Audio, laser systems specialists Laserworld AG, and audio contractors FBT Audio. Also exhibiting will be designers and manufacturers of modular stages and portable sound and light systems, Unistage, and audio sales, rentals, and integrated installations company, Pro Audio Systems.
New products on show for the first time in the UK will include Martin Professional’s new MAC Viper family, ETC’s Source Four LED fixtures, Yamaha’s brand new three-model CL Series Digital Consoles, the New Jands Vista L5 from A.C. Entertainment technologies, and the XS Wireless System from Sennheiser.
Further UK debuts will appear from the DMX/RDM splitter, Duo-Split DM and the Panel Range from Artistic Licence, MC2 Audio’s new S Series studio amplifiers shown by POLARaudio, Elaton’s Flex Pixel WP, and many more new products from Prolight Concepts, Smoke Factory, MT pro, Canford, Le Maitre, Bose, Green Hippo and d&b audio.
“We couldn’t be happier with the level of support this year, both from the exhibitors who love coming to the north-west to meet people they don’t get to meet anywhere else, and from the visitors, who come to check out the free seminars, get a first look at some new products, and meet the people behind them.
