PID to showcase DL-3 Light Engine

test 28 July 2008

“We have been working together on a less formal basis for the past two years,” said Artistic Licence’s managing director, Wayne Howell. “This has proved to be a great and continuing success, allowing us to explore the market thoroughly and establish ourselves within it. We have decided the time is now right to formalise the relationship by forming an independent company, Artistic Licence Asia.”

While the new operation will support the Artistic product range, the main focus will be on project development, guidance and support. The company already has a notable presence in the Far and Middle East regions thanks to such projects as Galaxy Park in Tianjin (pictured) and the Aspire Tower in Doha.

Current commitments include the Coca Cola Pavilion in Beijing, which houses an exhibition documenting the history of Coca Cola alongside that of the Olympic Games, along with a hospitality area and media zone. Working with the aforementioned Schwab and Wade, Artistic Licence has helped to put together an architectural package comprising nine universes of DMX512, controlled by 13 Artistic Licence Down-Lynx Art-Net to DMX nodes.
