pd shows F35 at JVRC1 October 2010
Today at the 2010 Joint Virtual Reality Conference (Schwabenlandhalle, Fellbach, Germany) Norway’s projectiondesign is featuring the first ever demonstration of the company’s recently-announced F35 WQXGA DLP projectors in a stereo visualisation configuration. This type of configuration, says the company, is perfect for bright, large-screen viewing in a range of computer graphics environments such as VR analysis, museums, research, academia, CAVEs and large room presentations. The F35 features a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, which projectiondesign claims is near double that of competing solutions. The F35 stereoscopic solution is being shown alongside the compact active stereoscopic 3D projector, the F10 AS3D.
“Being at the Virtual Efficiency Congress again this year positions us at the centre of what’s happening in some of the world’s leading virtual reality applications and scenarios,” said comments Anders Løkke, international marketing & communications manager at projectiondesign. “It’s a great place for us to be with our partners and suppliers so that they can see our latest product offerings and interactive, immersive and display solutions for 3D display.”
For this event, projectiondesign is collaborating with software company ICIDO and immersive systems integrator imsys, along with German distribution partner Luxion and Swiss distribution partner Visopta.
