ONELAN to preview Enterprise Communication Platform28 February 2011
At Euroshop 2011 (Messe Düsseldorf, 26th February – 3rd March 2011) ONELAN says that it will be exhibiting the latest software updates for its digital signage capability, in addition to showing an early preview of its new Enterprise Communications Platform, which the company says will feature Content Management, Managed Workflow, Transcoding and highly targeted content for very large networks.
The new platform is designed for productivity and revenue generation at the largest scale and enables brand and advertising networks to generate more revenue whilst reducing management overhead, according to ONELAN. Content is scheduled automatically and transformed, scaled, converted or transcoded into the most suitable format for the target display. Rich Metadata ensure content is automatically scheduled once across multiple SD, HD, LED and Web displays. The content will then arrive in the right format, cropped, rotated and converted for its target, without any user involvement.
ONELAN will be demonstrating elements of this new platform including Ingest, Search, Preview and an early look at new intelligent Scheduling.
ONELAN develops network appliances for standalone and end-to-end digital signage network solutions. The Net-Top-Box (picturted) is a multimedia, multi-zoned solution capable of touch interactivity. With a browser based user interface, the system is fully multi-lingual and capable of displaying both stored media and live media such as RSS feeds, web pages and broadcast TV or locally streamed video. Further members of the product family cater for Enterprise network management and integration with external data sources.
ONELAN’s NTBs are now installed in a wide variety of organisations such as retail, schools, hospitals, and government buildings, as well as well-known corporates such as Vodafone, Virgin Holidays and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
