Nexo unveils PS R2 series

Loudspeaker manufacturer Nexo – exhibiting at ISE with distributor Iemke Roos – is inviting visitors to see the new PS R2 series.

Constituting the new editions of its best-selling mainstream loudspeaker products, the PS R2 series of high-output compact cabinets is designed for nearfield portable and installed PA applications in clubs, houses of worship, theatres and AV installations.

In addition to being an ‘exceptional choice’ for stage monitoring, the cabinets can serve as fill-in complements for Nexo’s GEO and Alpha systems, says the manufacturer.

Delivering increases of up to 6dB SPL from a range comprising three scalable systems, the PS R2 Series can be employed at floor level, flown vertically or horizontally, and use as side/rear fills.

For the latest generation of PS, there are new sub-bass options: the RS15 is now offered as the standard sub for the PS15-R2, which can operate in either omni or directional mode.

Other key elements of the specification include Nexo’s patented Asymmetrical Dispersion Constant Directivity horn, new grilles for greater durability, and new mounting plates derived from the GEO series, which enable an array of new touring and fixed accessories to be used with the new models. In addition, both the PS15-R2 and PS10-R2 will have enlarged preset families.
