New appointments at Harris Broadcast

Harris Broadcast Communications has announced two key appointments for its digital signage business across EMEA, VP Richard Scott has revealed.

Graham Smith has joined as product specialist for the digital signage business. Previously with Innov8 Solutions (part of the CAN Media Group), Smith is responsible for bringing Harris digital signage sales into non-broadcast accounts with specific responsibility for the InfoCaster and Punctuate product lines.

His focus is on increasing visibility of the Harris digital signage portfolio by supporting demonstrations and system evaluations, as well as building solutions to meet customer needs. In addition, Smith will develop the Harris digital signage partner network throughout the region.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Ludmer has been appointed as key account manager for the digital signage business across EMEA. Previously channel marketing manager for Harris, Ludmer is responsible for developing new non-broadcast accounts, which include engaging with DOOH advertising companies, networks and key corporations within the retail and transport sector. He is also working with partners and systems integrators throughout the region.

Richard Scott, vice-president of EMEA operations for Harris Broadcast Communications, commented: “Developing the digital signage business is a key focus for Harris Broadcast Communications, and leading this strategy on a regional level is Ian Collis, our marketing director for EMEA. In order to accelerate the development of this business within the region, a dedicated team reporting to Ian is being created within our division to help anchor the position of Harris as a leader in digital out-of-home solutions.”
