Neets introduces EasyConnect

EasyConnect is Neets’ new AV connectivity and control system for the tabletop. According to the manufacturer, it solves one of the most common and frustrating problems encountered in AV presentations: when a guest presenter wants to connect a laptop computer and the proper cables either cannot be found, are too short, or the connection point is hidden away in a floor pocket or wall panel. That’s when EasyConnect comes in to play.

All necessary connections are readily accessible, right on the tabletop or lectern, inside a durable metal enclosure. The standard version accommodates all five typical connections for laptop computers and most tablet devices, and an additional cable can be added to accommodate DVI, XLR or jack connections for composite video applications.
Neets says EasyConnect’s integrated control means users can carry out ‘frustration-free’ presentations by simply plugging in the required cables and pressing the corresponding control buttons. Presentations can be underway in a matter of seconds, the manufacturer insists.

“Most presenters recognise these frustrations only too well; with EasyConnect we eliminate cable mess on the floor and provide easy and direct access to AV connections,” said Michael Jarl Christensen, head of sales and marketing at Neets. “At the same time, we make the room control directly accessible from the presentation position; it’s all about making life easier for the presenter and thereby increasing meeting and presentation quality.”
