NEC reveals new commercial display range16 October 2017
NEC Display Solutions Europe has introduced the MultiSync C Series of large format displays for commercial applications.
The latest additions consist of three models, ranging in size from 43 to 55in – C431, C501 and C551. All three models have a mechanical depth of only 45mm. C Series models are ideally suited for use as digital signage displays, as well as presentation devices for smaller conference rooms and huddle spaces.
The C Series range features a display brightness of 400 cd/sqm, allowing good visibility in controlled light surroundings. The black levels and impressive contrast ratios, combined with anti-glare surface to reduce reflections, offer ergonomic viewing and less fatigue when used for signage and conferencing applications.
Thanks to its integrated MediaPlayer, the C Series range also supports auto content playback and management of image and video media files. Auto play settings allow content playback to be scheduled according to the user’s individual needs. The standalone solution requires no additional cabling, ensuring a neat result with the only additional hardware required being a USB drive or MicroSDHC card.
These new models include full external control through both the LAN and RS232 interfaces, which enables integration into existing control systems. The C Series displays can be installed in both landscape and portrait orientation.
Tobias Augustin, section manager product management at NEC Display Solutions Europe, said: “We have designed the new C Series large format displays to contribute to modern and light environments. With its slim bezel design and thin depth, integration is seamless and does not impact overall interior design. The commercial-grade components in the C Series offer performance and reliability, even at 24/7 operation. It’s the perfect fit combining simplicity, flexibility and great visual performance.”
The MultiSync C Series large format displays will be available from early December 2017 and with additional larger sizes expected to be launched in early 2018.
