Microsoft has appointed 15 new resellers for the Microsoft Surface Hub in the UK. The expansion of the Hub reseller programme will help more UK customers deploy Microsoft Surface Hub into collaborative workplaces, and receive support for Surface Hub and related accessories.
The new partners bring industry expertise in deploying complex AV solutions and unified communications systems, as well as the ability and experience to help businesses and organisations integrate Microsoft Surface Hub effectively into their collaborative environments.
Five of the new partners are Microsoft Surface Hub Authorized Device Resellers: Capita IT Services, eBECS, Electrosonic, GV Multimedia and proAV.”We have also added 10 new partners via our Value Added Distributors Program for Opportunity Resellers (VAD-OR) with our UK distribution partner, Maverick Tech Data,” Microsoft told Installation in a statement.
The Surface Hub partner programme includes benefits and resources such as Microsoft support, sales tools, marketing campaigns and training materials for partners to assist the sale and deployment of Surface Hub devices.
“Microsoft were strategic about who they wanted to partner with,” said Kristian Cutting, deputy managing director of GV Multimedia. “Our AV expertise, our regional coverage and our strong existing relationships with the higher education sector make GV an immediate win for Microsoft.”
He continued: “To get the most out of this system [as a user] you need to be sure you’ve understood its use and that it is clearly defined, and that it is going to be fully integrated. Our discussions can also unearth other requirements and integration needs – this is all where we add value.”
Paul Morris, MD of Capita’s Intelligent Buildings Practice, said: “We offer customised audiovisual systems that encompass and deliver seamless collaboration, maximise content delivery and increase productivity within any environment. Surface Hub is a key component of our offering to clients, and we are very proud to have been awarded ADR status.”
“The use of Surface Hub has transformed the way we collaborate with our colleagues across the UK, not only improving operational efficiency but also reducing the inevitable stress of travel time,“ said Kevin Hall, managing director and owner, eBECS. “I am so impressed with this technology that eBECS is formally embedding the use of Surface Hub into our implementation methodology for use with customer team members on their sites. The Surface Hub is technology that just works and everyone who experiences them, loves them.”
“The Surface Hub ecosystem is growing every day, and our partners play an essential role in that growth by helping organisations implement new, innovative workplace collaboration strategies and communicate with colleagues across geographies,” said Danielle Crayton, senior product marketing manager, Microsoft UK.
