The prominent UK AV equipment provider has announced the appointment of James Loveless to head up its audio division.
Loveless has worked in audio since the late 1990s. Previous positions include a role as project manager at Dimension Audio and head of engineering at Orbital Sound.
Michael Breen, chief executive officer at Media Powerhouse, commented: “We have invested significantly in audio equipment and James’s appointment continues our strategy of employing forward looking experts in their field, in order to deliver technically excellent events – kit without
the right, exceptional people to operate it equates to limited use. Our line-up of Department Heads is outstanding and the addition of James makes it complete. He is one of the country’s most skilled audio specialists and we have been impressed by his hands on approach to engineering, designing and operating audio systems. James’s passion for new technology coupled with his customer service ethos of ensuring that projects are always delivered on time and on budget, means he will fit in well at Media Powerhouse.”
Loveless added: “The fact that Media Powerhouse continues to invest in its people and purchase the latest equipment at a time when most other AV rental businesses have, or are making cuts is testament to the success of its customer focused philosophy. This is an exciting time to join the company and I am looking forward to working with Michael and the team to bring to fruition the company’s ambitious growth plans.”
