Media Décor introduces new webstore

Ian McMurray 28 July 2010

The company is well known for the production of designer solutions for elegant concealment of flat-screen TVs. The online store will offer two new glass mirror TV models for installation in bathrooms, as well as the company’s popular ECCO Moving Art Series. These models are also available through authorised Media Décor dealers.

The new product launches – the Aqua Vanity Series and Aqua Décor Series – are the first models to debut in Décor’s new mirror TV Series, to be introduced in the next few months. Designed for installation in bathrooms, Aqua Vanity and Aqua Décor are frameless glass mirrors that can be customised with eight different frame options to match a bathroom’s décor. While the Aqua Vanity is billed as the "ideal cosmetic mirror", the Aqua Décor is suitable for bathtub viewing and "magically disappears" when the TV is turned off.

Each features a built-in, ultra-thin, 19in flat-panel LED television to provide optimal TV viewing.

Each TV features a built-in HDTV tuner, PC video input, USB port, HDMI input, a headphone output, two stereo speakers, and composite, component, and S-video inputs. The special coatings applied to the back of the glass are humidity-resistant.

The mirrors measure 30in x 36in and prices start at $995, depending on the choice of frame: Brushed Edge German Silver, Satin Pewter, Brushed Satin Black and Florentine Gold. There are also four options of wood frame: Honey Pecan, Natural, Dark Walnut and White-washed.

Meanwhile, the value-priced ECCO Moving Art Series is designed for newer, thin-styled TVs the depth of which, including the wall-mount, doesn’t exceed 2in. Available in two versions on the webstore – ECCO-Small (for 40-46in TVs) and ECCO-Medium (for 50-55in TVs) – ECCO can also be ordered in custom sizes through an authorised Media Décor dealer. Artwork is available in 39 choices, while frames are offered in Matte Black, Espresso, Rustic Walnut or Rustic Pine.
