Sony to showcase latest ‘green’ projectors at InfoComm MEA 2012

The range of projectors, which have been designed for corporate and education applications, incorporate functions such as auto lamp dimming, eco mode and a fine-tuned cooling system.

Sony Professional Solutions will showcase its new series of eco-conscious projectors at Infocomm MEA 2012, to be held from 14 to 18 October 2012, Dubai – UAE. Created for use in small office, corporate or education environments, the VPL-D100 and VPL-E200 (pictured) series of projectors are equipped with environment friendly features, including: auto brightness adjustment, auto lamp dimming and eco mode – the latter of which provides users the ability to switch the power consumption of the projector. In addition, a new fine-tuned cooling system can extend lamp life to approximately 7,000 hours. The eco-conscious features are said to reduce energy consumption and extend lifetime, making them more productive and cost efficient for all uses.

The company will also showcase the latest interactive ultra- short throw projectors in the market, designed for use in small offices, corporations and educational institutes. The projectors can transform most flat surfaces into interactive screens with digital pens that work as a computer’s mouse or a screen-annotation device. More than 100 exhibiting companies will take to InfoComm MEA, offering their latest products and expertise for diverse applications. These companies include:- Arrive, Audioprof, Australian Monitor, Barco, Crestron, Da-Lite Screen, Dataton, Digital Projection, Extron, Jupiter Systems, Emmy Mount, LG, Mitsubishi Electric, projectiondesign, Prysm, Sharp, Sony, Vivitek, Vtron and WolfVision. www.sony.co.uk/pro/hub/home
