Epson launches new EB-Z Series of projectors

Epson enhances its projector offering with a new range said to simplify installations through improved connectivity options and wide lens shifts.

Epson has expanded its product range with the addition of seven new projector models, including its first 10,000-lumen large-venue projector.

The new series offers XGA (EB-Z10000, EB-Z10005) to WXGA (EB- Z8350W/ EB-Z8355W) and WUXGA (EB-Z8450WU/ EB-Z8455WU), and brightness levels that range from 7,000 to 10,000 lumens (EB-Z/10000 and 10005).

WiFi and iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch connectivity – thanks to Epson’s downloadable iOS app – combined with a wide lens shift range both vertically and horizontally, are said to make for easy integration into any environment. Furthermore, all models are compatible with existing optional Epson lenses.

Other features include Super Resolution and Frame Interpolation modes, which help to create a smooth image. Alongside this, Point Correction with its three matrix settings combined with the Arc Correction feature correct uneven screens. Another key addition to the range is the SDI port, allowing venues to transmit HD broadcast signals such as TV for the first time.
