d&b’s new xS Series includes seven speakers and three matching subwoofers spread over a broad range of sizes and output powers and sharing the same “unobtrusive industrial” design to which discreet mounting hardware can be attached.
The ultra-compact 4S and compact 5S are two-way designs employing direct radiating LF/MF drivers. The 8S is a full-range, two-way bass reflex enclosure and, like the 4S and 5S, offers a conical dispersion pattern. The biaxial 10S, 10S-D, 12S and 12S-D are high performance two-way bass-reflex cabinets with rotatable horns and a choice of two dispersion options for installed sound applications. The xA-Series comprises four mechanically arrayable speakers housing direct radiating LF/MF drivers in combination with various HF dispersion technologies including line source waveguides.
Both series are supported by dedicated subwoofers: 12S, 18S and 27S models for xS enclosures and 18A and 27A for the xA range.
